Tieghan Gerard has an eating disorder and does not taste the food she works so hard to create and photograph to put on her blog Half-Baked Harvest.

She started the Half-Baked Harvest blog in 2012. Since then, she has been featured on The Cooking Channel, Food Network, HGTV, among others.

Better Homes and Gardens named Half Baked Harvest Readers’ Choice Favorite Food Blog in both 2014 and 2016. It won two awards in 2016:  Saveur Magazine Award for Most Inspired Weeknight Dinners as well as the Bloglovin’ Best Food Blog Award.

Tieghan earned an Associate’s Degree after graduating from high school. Her original plan was to work in the fashion industry, but she later changed her mind and joined HBH after which she worked nonstop.

HBH is a family thing with her mother, father, brother, and two cousins all a part of it.

She claims to hike daily and if she wasn’t in the cooking line of business, she would be styling clothes in the fashion industry or working in interior design.

Tieghan Gerard Eating Disorder – Before And After Photos

Tieghan Gerard is in the midst of an active eating disorder and looking at her recent photos, she displays the signs of an anorexic person.

Scrolling through her Instagram account under the handle @halfbakedharvest will result in very few photos of her.

On a family vacation to Cabo, Gerard stands on the beach in a baggy sweater while everyone else is dressed in swimsuits or sundresses, indicating that she is uncomfortable in her own skin.

She also has a Necessaire skincare sponsored series of stories where she talks about how great it is for her skin. Her use of a filter for the skincare products she sells is clearly visible in the photos.

She looks gaunt and is obviously not eating or being nourished by the food she’s spent so much time styling and photographing.

Insight On Tieghan Gerard Husband And Family

According to her blog dated back April 12, 2020, Tieghan Gerard was not married and did not have a husband. The 27-year-old comes from a large family and is one of seven children, so there are quite a few members in her family.

Gerard’s family packed up their belongings and moved to Colorado, where they still live to this day when she was 14 years old. She now lives beside her family in her own home alone which she has converted from a horse barn to suit her needs.

She was the only girl for fifteen years before her mother had Asher. With a large family, cooking meals always becomes a war zone. Tieghan started helping cook to alleviate some of the mealtime chaos and get dinner on the table at a reasonable hour.

Gerard quickly realized how much she enjoyed the process as she learned the ins and out of the trade.

Before long, she had taken over full-time cooking duties for her family and Half Baked Harvest was born after she photographed the process and documented her favorite recipes.
